Black History Month is an annual celebration to remember the achievements of African Americans, past and present. The celebration started as Negro History Week in 1926 and was later expanded to a monthly celebration in 1979.

Today, black history month is celebrated in schools, and at work. Most people use this time to recognize the good and bad of black history. This includes black culture, pride, achievements, legacy, suffering, slavery, freedom, and more.

2012 Yes We Can, Again - Barack Obama: Following his 4 year presidency, Obama was re-elected for another 4 year term in 2012, making him the first Black president of the United States of America to be president for two consecutive terms.

2020 I'm Speaking Kamala Harris Meaning: Kamala Harris' "I'm speaking" phrase came from the 2020 Vice Presidential debate with Mike Pence. During the debate, Kamala Harris was asked a question.
